Maurizio and Vittorio met in 1985, when a friend told Vittorio that a guy from the same town (Maurizio) had built an analog BF ‘echo’ with the Bucket Brigade TDA1022 integrated circuit, the same used on Williams Flippers for audio effects. Vittorio had built another echo and was eager to show to Maurizio that his echo was better.
Later on Dario Pennisi (who programmed with Giuliano videogames for Simulmondo) introduced Giuliano to Maurizio because Maurizio was able to do “things” with the Commodore 64.
Since then Giuliano (16), Maurizio (17) and Vittorio (18) started to make projects first in Maurizio’s room, then in Maurizio’s garage, that became a laboratory for spark generators, making of electronic devices, Z80 and MOS6502 boards, audio samples on the Amiga, teardown of devices, and programming.
Fourty years later, after years during which each of us was involved into his life, family and work, we decided to start again to hack togheter during spare time. And here we are.
